After attending the College of Architecture, Design, and the Arts at the University of Illinois Chicago, David Calvano spent 10 years designing and custom-building furniture. During this period, he also worked on a variety of functional, sculptural projects exploring different mediums.

Wanting to build bigger, David began a series of partnerships designing and developing projects ranging from multi-unit properties in Chicago and Miami to a large-scale multi-acre development in Saugatuck, Michigan.
